Label Design
YOUR OWN PRIVATE LABEL...
Barrel owners will have the option of choosing from nine elegantly designed wine bottle labels. Each design offers its own unique flair and distinct style, and will be customized to reflect the barrel owner's name, the vintage year and varietal, as well as standard bottling notes such as vineyard altitude and other incidentals. If a barrel owner wishes to provide or create his or her own label design, our graphic artist is available for an additional fee and will work personally with the owner to help execute his or her vision (see below for more information).
Once your barrel order has been placed, it may be some time before your bottled wine will be shipped to you (depending on the availability of preexisting filled barrels that may match your order, or the amount of time you decide to age your newly barreled wine), so choosing the design of your bottle labels may be one of the final steps of the barrel program's process. You will be contacted by an Algodon representative at the appropriate time to discuss your labeling options, final shipping details, and any other necessary information.
Labels for shared barrels:
If you are sharing a barrel with another individual, you may select an additional customized label for the added fee of $250. This cost covers design expenses and the labor involved in managing multiple labels for a single barrel. (See our referral program to learn how to get this money back!) The cost to have three labels associated with one barrel is $500.
No more than three customized labels may be selected for a single barrel.
Labels designed by you:
If you would like to provide or create your own design (personal drawing, family crest, company logo, etc.), you may do so for the additional fee of $500. Up to three rounds of design revisions with our skilled graphic artist are available, if necessary. Each additional round of revisions is $100.
Specially requested labeling materials or printing processes will be expensed at its additional cost plus 20% handling.
